The flat we are presenting is located on the third and top floor of a historic building called Villa delle Mimose, in the hamlet of Corconio. This hamlet of Orta lies on the slopes of the south-eastern side of the lake basin, near the Buccione Tower.

The villa is immersed in a private garden bordered on one side by chestnut woods and on the other by the lake on the horizon.

The jewel in the crown of this property is the private terrace with a 360° panoramic view of Lake Orta and its lush vegetation. The exposure is excellent and from the splendid octagonal belvedere, reached by an internal staircase, you can admire the sunset over the lake.

The flat is developed on a single floor.

Crossing the entrance door, we find ourselves in the living area. It features a corner kitchen with peninsula, made to measure by local carpenters and equipped with all modern facilities, and the dining area. In a separate room, on the other hand, we find the living room with two comfortable sofas and a splendid view of the lake. The room is very bright thanks to the three windows and the French window which gives us an almost fairytale-like landscape. Here there is a pellet stove.

Next to the kitchen is the laundry room with tumble dryer and a small windowed service bathroom.

The main bathroom, complete with shower, is accessible from both the living and sleeping areas.

The master bedroom is very bright and the furniture is minimal and custom-made by local craftsmen. Again, the dominant colour is white. When you wake up, your eyes will be opened to the beautiful scenery of the lake.
You will be amazed by the bright shades of yellow and red in all its nuances in autumn. You will enjoy the sober views concealed by a mystical veil of fog in winter. You will enjoy the awakening of nature with its soft colours in spring. And, finally, you will fall in love in summer with its brilliant colours and the shimmering blues of the water and the greens of the gardens.

Two uncovered parking spaces are reserved in the villa’s park. While in the communal storeroom there is an assigned space for storing bicycles or other things.

The flat was almost completely renovated by the current owner in 2020.

The room now used as a living room is actually a second bedroom.

The windows are fitted with mosquito nets. Some window frames have double glazing, while others are dated before the renovation.

The furnishings are included in the offer.

Heating is autonomous by LPG and hot water is provided by two electric boilers, one for the kitchen and laundry room and the other for the master bathroom.

With a walk of about ten minutes it is possible to reach either the equipped beach of Miami, complete with bar and restaurant, or a more intimate beach known only to locals.

 Orta is the most important town of the lake, as well as what it gave the lake its name. The Island of San Giulio is part of its municipal boundaries, with its impressive basilica and its ancient history of castles and treasures, but also of dragons and saints.

Corconio is a little fraction that rises on the hill above Orta and it belongs to the Commune of Orta San Giulio. Not too far from this little town stands the famous Tower of Buccione on, an UNESCO Heritagesince 2003. The castle, symbol of the independence from the coast of San Giulio, it rises on a strong position, that allows it to dominate the entire southern area of the lake.

Cannot be describe in few lines the value of the streets in stone, the romantic foreshortenings, the balconies in beaten iron and the atmosphere that breath in every single alleyway.
