This small flat is perfect for a couple who wants to spend their holidays on Lake Orta.
The flat was renovated a few years ago. It is located on the first floor of one of the most beautiful historical buildings overlooking the square. It consists of a living room with kitchen and bedroom, ante-bathroom and bathroom with shower and washing machine. Wisely furnished so as to make the maximum use of space.
The flat is located in the cosy and well-served Piazza Motta, the true heart of Orta San Giulio.
Orta is the most important town of the lake, as well as what it gave the lake its name. The Island of San Giulio is part of its municipal boundaries, with its impressive basilica and its ancient history of castles and treasures, but also of dragons and saints.
To reach the island you can take one of the boats that depart regularly from the central square.
The medieval village was built on the slopes of a promontory, on which was later built the Holy Mountain, since 2003 part of the heritage of humanity list compiled by UNESCO.
I can not describe in a few lines the value of stone streets, the romantic views, the decorated iron balconies, and the atmosphere that is breathed in every alleyway.
