This flat is dedicated to those who love to immerse themselves in history.
It is the result of a skilful renovation of the interior that has chosen to maintain the characteristics of the houses of the past while highlighting the architectural elements that distinguish our area. Stone staircases, wrought iron railings in the Ortese tradition and exposed beams make this flat a true masterpiece.
The apartment is on the second floor of a typical courtyard house. Entering the emblazoned doorway directly from Piazza Motta, defined by many as the piazza salotto, one climbs the stone stairs to the second floor and immediately breathes in that medieval village flavour that only Orta is able to evoke.
The entrance door opens directly onto the dining/living room. The full-wall bookcase conceals a sliding door that delimits a second room. Currently furnished with sofas, it could easily be converted into a bedroom.
The kitchen has been created in the passageway between the living and sleeping areas. The dimensions are small, yet nothing is missing. The style tends towards modern but blends well with the surroundings.
A wooden door, in arte povera style, separates the living area from the sleeping area. Immediately in the corridor we find the large bathroom with tiles reminiscent of the colour of the beola tiles of the typical Ortese roofs.
