ARMENO House with a garden and a garage
In the heart of the Cheggino neighborhood, we find this small house where all the space is in the right place!
The house is completely independent, free on three sides, and on one side it borders an old monastery that has been completely renovated.
It is perfect for those looking for a vacation home in a fresh and calm area, but it is also well suited to be a gracious year-round home for a family with a kid that is ready to deal with some modernization.
The entrance is through the nice flat garden that leads to the entry door. Once entered the home you find the day area where we see the habitable kitchen with a kitchenette, a living room with a nice functioning fireplace, a bathroom with a window and a washing machine, and finally a covered porch.
On the first floor, we find two bedrooms and another bathroom with a window and a bathtub.
The garden is on 2 levels connected to each other by a stone latter. The first part of the garden has the car entrance and a wide garage and a tool room with a rooftop terrace. The second garden instead is a little smaller but here you can enjoy absolute privacy.
The house has no heating system, but it has a boiler for the hot water.
Armeno rises to on the hills above Lake Orta at an altitude of 523 meters above sea level. It is the northernmost town in the province and one of the largest geographically.
Not far you can find the Mottarone with its small but sunny slopes and exceptional views of the lake Orta on Lake Maggiore.
The village where the house is located is called Sovazza, whose name comes from the Latin, according to an interpretation would mean “comfortable place.” This town is located on Two Rivers Road, which joins Lake Orta to the largest (and perhaps the most famous) Lake Maggiore.
On the origin of this hamlet, they are missing the secure documents. Some legends say that it was born as a result of some wealthy nobles from the Riviera di San Giulio, who fled following the barbarian invasions.
